About this Event
This is not your typical beer dinner... Our Chef, Aaron McCauley, has developed a delicious 4 course food menu which incorporates First State beer into all dishes. In addition, all of the courses are artfully paired with a diverse array of beer styles. This unique experience will be guided by Jeff Horne, Certified Cicerone®, who will discuss food & beer pairing concepts and how to properly taste beer.
NOTE: This is 21+ event - please bring your ID. We are unable to accommodate dietary restrictions or food/drink substitutions for this event.
MENU:
1) Chef's Tasting Board - Canela cheese, French rye, carrot cake jam, cabbage crisp trio, house pickled grapes ; Paired with Monolithic Memoroes (Czech Dark Lager)
2) Harvest Scallops - Seared scallops, pumpkin couscous, brussel sprouts, pomegranate, haystack butter ; Paired with Hand Math (Czech Pilsner)
3) Cider Braised Chicken - Apple cider braised chicken thigh, sweet potato gnocchi, kale, pearl onion, sage ; Paired with Spaceships & Lasers #7 (Spiced Cider)
4) Autumn Panna Cotta - Brown sugar panna cotta, apple cider gelee, apple & pear compote ; Paired with Obscured Thoughts (Port Barrel-Aged Blackberry Belgian Tripel)
