About this Event
We are running two independent hands-on cheesemaking modules (one for soft and the other for hard cheeses) and you can join us for either one or both modules. You wil lget to make at least 1kg of cheese at the workshop, which you will get to take home with you.
In the afternoon, from 2pm to 5pm you will make soft cheeses - Camembert, Danish Blue and Danish Feta. There will also be a demonstration showing how to make Ricotta in a few minutes.
In the evenin g, from 6pm to 9pm you will make hard cheeses - Halloumi, Farmhouse cheddar and Cottge cheese. You will also make your own Mozzarella ans learn how make Boconcini & Burrata from your Mozzarella.
For those doing both modules, we will provide a light lunch of cheese toasties (with a selection of cheeses), tea and coffee.
We will provide a cheese platter with biscuits with tea and coffee for morning & afternoon tea. We wil also fry up some Halloumi for a snack during each module.
The cost is $120 for each module and if you do both modules you get a 10% discount (combined price of $216). Tickets purchased using the discount code that do not qualify will be cancelled, refunded and the place forfeited. You will be able to rebook if there are remaing spots on the workshops.

We have a small number of subsidised places for those community members who require financial assistance. Please email your request for financial assistance to [email protected] to arrange your subsidised enrolment. All enquiries for financial asssitance will remain confidential.
Terms and conditions
- enrolments will be accepted in the order of booking until classes fill
- workshops maybe cancelled if insufficient numbers of participants enrol
- there will be full refund payable if the workshops are cancelled by the organiser
- if you decide to cancel, a refund of fees will made upon receipt of a written request emailed to [email protected], 7 days prior to the event
- you can substitute 3rd parties for yourself if you are not able to attend the workshop
Availability of spots
- there is a maximum number of participants on any of the hands-on workshops. This maximum varies depending on the capacity of the venue.
