Goostrey is home to two historic pubs - The Crown Inn and The Space Invader (formerly Ye Old Red Lion). Both began life as 16th- and 17th-century dairy farms, brewing ale for thirsty locals and travellers alike. Over the centuries, they’ve served as watering holes, community hubs, and even fine-dining pioneers in post-war Cheshire.
Both pubs will feature unique displays showcasing each establishment’s history. Discover how The Crown Inn celebrated the Moon landing with "Moonshine punch." Learn about the Gooseberry Society’s roots at The Space Invader.
