Welcome! In each Cheaper Than Therapy workshop, you will learn 3-5 simple and effective techniques for re-training your brain so you can cultivate qualities like greater focus, inner peace, and resilience. In the last session, we learned techniques for breathing, visualization, focus, self-compassion, and mood elevation.
You will then practice these techniques with a partner until you get the hang of them. The goal is to make effective tools of mental health easily accessible so you can heal yourself, and have fun and build community while doing it.
The techniques come from various modalities promoting neuroplasticity, e.g. mindfulness, meditation, self-hypnosis, NLP, Havening, EMDR, breathwork, polyvagal theory, creative visulalization, and more. Don't worry so much about the names; the point is that you'll finish the session in a better place than where you started.
This is a NO-PHONE EVENT. Bring pen & paper so you can take notes.

YOUR INSTRUCTOR: Ali "Victor" Binazir, M.D., M.Phil. here, your friendly neighborhood Happiness Engineer.
