The Longview Public Library’s cultural festival, Chautauqua (“she-tauk-wa”), returns this spring!
This FREE event is all about celebrating the rich, diverse culture that Longview and East Texas has to offer.
Including live music & performances, local authors, artists, craft activities, art projects, artisans, food trucks, face-painting, and so much more!
We hold the festival just outside the library front doors on the Eastman Library Plaza so everyone can enjoy the fresh air and walk around to see the vendors and performers.
Just like they did back in the early 20th centuries!
Plan to join us on Saturday, April 15 from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM!

Vendors will need to provide their own tables, chairs, and displays.
A tent is strongly considered for sun protection, but also be mindful of windy conditions, and having ways to secure your tent and displays.
There is a limited number of sites available with outlets for electricity.
As soon as you register, please contact Bronwyn at (903) 237-1351 or [email protected] to request an area with electricity.
