We are having a street sale in the empty lot at 33 Chatham Street on September 13. We will have a rain date if necessary, but it will be in the same place (where Shell Cottage used to be). Many people in the area have committed to selling their wares and anyone else in Brantford is welcome to come and set up a table for free (no MLMs). The students will be back for school with fancy loan money and as someone who lives in an apartment I find it is always harder to try and sell things exclusively on marketplace. You don’t need to RSVP, just show up on the 13 with tables or something to sell from and some chairs to sit on. There’s no shade here so perhaps sunscreen/umbrella would be helpful.
