Cedrice L. Bennett, Sr. is a dynamic leader with middle to executive level leadership experience in healthcare, education, and the non-profit sector. A U.S. Air Force veteran, he upholds the values of integrity, service, and excellence in all he does. With a BA from Fisk University, an MA from Fuller Theological Seminary, and as an MBA candidate at Concordia University Texas, Cedrice brings a strong academic foundation to his leadership roles.

Since relocating to Austin, he has actively engaged in the business community, completing the Leadership Austin Essential program. He currently serves as Director of Strategic Enrollment Partnerships and Adjunct Professor at Concordia University Texas. Dedicated to organizational excellence and leadership development, Cedrice leverages his expertise to drive strategic initiatives that make a lasting impact. Passionate about mentorship and community service, he is committed to shaping future leaders and fostering meaningful change.

Dexter L. Jones -

Dexter L. Jones is the Owner and Chief Executive Protection Officer of VIPS Personal Protection, LLC. A United States Marine Corps veteran, he honorably served during the Persian Gulf War era.

Dexter retired in 2021 from the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission as the Chief of Audit & Investigations, with 26 years of combined regulatory and law enforcement service. One of his most significant contributions was the development and implementation of a Special Investigations Unit, which focused on disrupting and dismantling organized crime within the alcoholic beverage industry through covert investigation techniques. His work in this field has been recognized by members of the Texas House of Representatives and Senate.

Kitty Bird -

Kitty Bird is an event photographer based in Austin, Texas. Born into an artistic family in Orlando, she was surrounded by creativity from an early age, with her father working as a commercial photographer. She studied at SCAD, moved to Austin in 2004, and built a dynamic career in nonprofit and fair trade retail before launching her own photography business.

As a solopreneur, Kitty thrives in capturing moments with an infectious enthusiasm. Her optimistic and approachable nature makes her a joy to work with, ensuring that everyone around her feels at ease. For Kitty, photography is more than just a business—it’s her passion. She brings connection and fun to every project, making each event a memorable experience.

Mehrab Akakhail -

Mehrab Akakhail is the founder and CEO of Native Translation Services LLC, based in Austin, Texas. Originally from Kabul, Afghanistan, Mehrab is fluent in four languages, with Pashto as his native tongue. Since founding the company in 2021, he has led the business in providing professional translation and interpretation services in over 30 languages. His commitment to working with native-speaking interpreters ensures high-quality, culturally accurate services for all clients.
