Come Join CHAT at our annual Winter Ball. The evening will begin with a ballroom dance lesson, provided by Fred Astaire Dance Studio, and continue with ballroom and other dancing. Because the lesson is being provided by professional instructors, it is important that you arrive before 5:00 PM if you wish to participate in the lesson.
This event is open to all homeschooled students and graduates age 13 to 19 and their guests.
Dress is Semi-Formal. Girls dresses should be fancier than what is normally worn for church, but need not be formal evening gowns. Boys are required to wear dress shirts and dress pants. Ties are suggested but not required. Modesty Requirements are explained on the Chat Dances main page.
Please note: the earlier time for this event is because of a change in policy at the Fort Wayne Parks department. We must be out of the pavilion at 9pm.
Cost is $15 for those who register by January 3rd, and $20 afterward. All payment will be taken at the door.
Snacks, hors d'oeuvres, and desserts will be served at the dance.
