Join us for a free community Chat ’n' Chai on Tuesdays, from 10:00-11:30 am, in the Library Café. This week we feature blood pressure screenings and information!
Did you know that nearly half of all Americans have high blood pressure, which increases the risk of heart attack and stroke as well as many other health issues? Your blood pressure is one of the most controllable health factors, so being aware of yours can be life-changing. The Library will have on-site and circulating blood pressure monitors beginning sometime in February.
Hosted by Samira Abdalla, Coralville’s Community Resource Navigator, Chat ’n' Chai is an informal community meet up in the Library’s Café where everyone is welcome to sit with a cup of chai and chat with their neighbors.
