Join us for a special screening of Chasing Mavericks (2012), introduced by Bob Pearson, the master board shaper behind the film.
Chasing Mavericks is based off the true story Santa Cruz teenager Jay Moriarity as he trains with a local surf legend Frosty Hesson to conquer the massive Mavericks waves, forging a deep connection to his hometown and the ocean.
Come early to secure your spot and check out the authentic boards used in the film featured in our Princes of Surf exhibition! This screening will take place in the MAH atrium and we encourage you to bring your own beach chair! Seating will be provided otherwise.
Popcorn is included, and drinks will be available for purchase at Front & Cooper.
