OH NO! He's back! The Grinch returns to Historic Snohomish on Sunday, December 15th, 2024. Join the Best 5k Run in Snohomish and keep the Grinch from spoiling all of the holiday merriment in town...AGAIN! Runners and walkers will help restore holiday order by Chasing the Grinch out of town.
Check in & festivities starts at 8:00am (or save time with early pick up - see details below)
5K Runners will start at 9:00am
5K Joggers/walkers at 9:15am
Kid's Dash at 10:30 (Elementary age & younger)
The 5K charity run starts and finishes at our "Cheermeister Village" at Averill Field 400 2nd Street, Snohomish WA (next to the Snohomish Boys & Girls Club). The route takes you along the picturesque Centennial Trail. This cheery and mostly flat 5K distance is a fully supported out-and-back course - a great beginner 5k. Runners return to a festive finish line with themed costume party, entertainment, and photo ops! The kids dash will take place around Averill Field.
All 5K participants will receive an official event T-shirt and medal showing that you helped Chase the Grinch out of Snohomish. Kids Dash participants receive an event t-shirt and participation ribbon.
Register early to guarantee your swag. Wear your most fun and festive attire to help spread holiday joy as we continue the yearly tradition in Historic Snohomish!

This event is produced in partnership with the Central Emerson PTA & Historic Snohomish Downtown Association. All proceeds support students at Central Emerson Elementary.

Volunteer
Support our schools by making the Grinch 5k run magic happen. We are seeking volunteers for 2 hour or longer shifts. Have fun while giving your time to this charity event. For the safety of our students, volunteers must complete a background check through the Snohomish School District. High school seniors this is a great opportunity to get your community service hours in doing something fun! PM us for volunteer information.
