Charu Suri at Backbar

Join multi award winning pianist and composer Charu Suri, who blends Indian ragas into jazz, in a unique concert blending East and West. Charu has performed four times at Carnegie Hall and brings her stylized raga jazz to Backbar for the first time. Rolling Stone has hailed her as creating her own genre in jazz, and All About Jazz put RAGS & RAGAS, her latest work recorded with Steve Gadd and John Patitucci, in its Best Jazz Albums list of 2022.
