New Weave Building BridgeJoin Charm City Flutes for a festive holiday music performance at Savage Mill! This event features a talented quartet playing Christmas classics as delightful background music to enhance your shopping experience this December.
About the Quartet:
For this performance, Charm City Flutes will be joined by Mari Hill to form a quartet. Each member brings a wealth of experience:
• Laurel Ewell: Former member of the Hong Kong Symphony and current performer with the Baltimore Flute Choir.
• Andrew Tomlinson: Plays traditional Irish music on a Mozart era wooden flute at dance events and is also part of the Baltimore Flute Choir.
• Erin Villamizar: Former music teacher and flutist/saxophonist active in the local jazz scene, performing with the Larry Noto Little Big Band and Hank Levy Legacy Band.
• Mari Hill: Versatile multi-woodwind musician in various musical theater productions throughout the region and member of the Patuxent Jazz Band.
During the performance, audience members will have the opportunity to make song requests from their repertoire!
While they are focusing on holiday music for this event, Charm City Flutes typically performs a diverse selection of pieces from various genres and eras, including Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and contemporary works.
