After a groundbreaking first season, the Charlottetown Improvisation Laboratory is back at City Cinema this year for Volume 4. Spearheaded by bassist Adam Hill, the show will also include guest artists Ian Toms on guitar, Diana Delirio on vocals and woodwinds, Ray Knorr on fiddle, and Max Gallant on drums.Each musician has composed a brand new tune in the spirit of "structured improvisation" for the band to present this evening. In addition to the five world premiere performances, the program will include a few not-so-standards from diverse genres. And an ambient film backdrop will set the stage for all sorts of artistic exploration.
Regular and Student/Artist tickets are available. And the venue City Cinema is wheelchair accessible.
