Lexington Youth Theatre is headed to the runway!We’re thrilled to announce that LYT will be participating in Charlotte Fashion Week, hosted by Charlotte Seen. This year’s theme is Broadway on the Runway, and we’re looking for 10 to 17 youth performers to join us for this exciting event.
Auditions will be held:
Saturday, August 16 from 1:00–5:00 PM

What to Prepare:
All performers should prepare 45 seconds of any song from Newsies with choreography.

• If you want to be considered for The Lion King, please prepare 45 seconds of “Circle of Life.”
• If you want to audition for Hamilton, please prepare 45 seconds of “You’ll Be Back.”
Details:
– We are looking for 10 to 17 performers
– You may audition for any or all of the following: Newsies, Hamilton, or The Lion King
– Newsies and Hamilton may be double cast
– Lion King will be single cast only
– Performers do not need to be available for both show days
Eligibility:
– Must be in 4th–12th grade
– Must have participated in a previous major LYT production (summer camps not included)
– Must not have graduated high school
We welcome your creativity! Use the sample choreography or bring your own—just come ready to perform and shine on the runway.
