The San Luis Obispo County Jazz Federation will present “Charlie Shoemake Meets the Central Coast Jazz All-Stars” on Saturday, November 22nd at 7:30 pm. Master vibraphonist Charlie Shoemake will be joined by local stand-outs Dave Becker on sax, Jamaal Baptiste on piano, Ken Hustad on bass and Darrell Voss on drums. Shoemake is an accomplished player and educator who toured with the George Shearing Quintet for 7 years. He has recorded with the top names in jazz including Phil Woods, Harold Land, Tommy Flanagan and Hank Jones among many others.
