Charlie Elliott Camp n Paddle This location is known for the Charlie Elliot Wildlife Center but is also home to the Marben PFA and Clybel WMA. It is located about an hour east of Atlanta near Mansfield GA. We will be fishing at Marben PFA. Marben Public Fishing Area has 20 different lakes and ponds, ranging in size from 1 to 95 acres. The ponds are intensively managed for fishing and offer anglers the opportunity to fish for Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Channel Catfish, Crappie, and Redear Sunfish. This is a beautiful location that offers excellent fishing and pond hoping.
Camping: You will need to reserve your own camping spot (or group up with someone that already has one). The campsites here are brand new and are opening in March 2024. Most sites should have water and electricity to them and there will be a shared restroom. Please bring your own gear for camping. Currently you cannot book your reservations yet but once they are open you can reserve your campsite here (use CEWC Clybel WMA): https://reservations.gooutdoorsgeorgia.com/FacilitySearchResults.aspx
