Charleston W.V. Lighted Boat Parade, Lights of Love Event, And CPD Toy Drive

Christmas themed lighted boats will line up behind the Womens and Childrens Hospital on the Elk River at 600PM while the CPD and CFD will have vehicles out front of the Hospital for "The Lights of Love Event". The boats will depart the Elk River around 630PM and proceed up river directly in front of Haddad River Front Park then head to the McCorkle Avenue side of the river at the South Side Bridge. The boats will all turn around just past the capitol complex then head down river via the Kananwha Boulevard side of the river to the Haddad River Front Park. This event will also be the last pick up for the 5th Annual CPD Wonderland and Toy Drive. A drop off station will be set up at the levee if you wish to donate unwrapped toys for the less fortunate children in our area. The Charleston Police Department will distribute the donated items on December 17th!! Any toy you bring can make a huge difference for someone else!!! We look forward to seeing everyone there!!
