We are hosting our sponsored sleep out event on Friday 28th November to help increase awareness of homelessness and raise much needed funds for our work with people who are in need. For some people, they are experiencing homelessness, many are living in temporary accommodation and still requiring support.
For this event, we are asking you to swap your bed for a tent and sleeping bag at Charles Thompson's Mission for just one night. This is nothing like sleeping rough but it will give you an insight into homelessness and the issues faced. We have been helping the homeless and people in need since 1892 and although we still work hard to make sure no one needs to sleep rough, there are still people who need our help.
