About this Event

Reston Museum will celebrate Charles Goodman, the Washington DC area’s pre-eminent mid-century modernist, at a free community program from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm on September 25 th at the Reston Community Center located at Lake Anne Plaza. Known for designing Hickory Cluster, the third community built in Bob Simon’s Reston, Goodman also worked on projects in Alexandria and Arlington in Virginia and Silver Spring and Takoma Park in Maryland as well as numerous other public and private projects across the country. This stimulating discussion will be led by Mimi Sadler, historic preservation consultant, and landscape architect Elisabeth Lardner.
