Axel Picodot will be making his Irish Debut while Charles Fenckler will be making his long awaited return to Irish shores!
CHARLES FENCKLER BIO
Face of the new French techno scene, Charles André known as Charles Fenckler is taking the world by storm, releasing hit after hit on the prestigious Scottish imprint, Soma Records. Accumulating millions of plays on Youtube and Spotify, his own Stellar Acid, Frozen Room and District Two have gained a continuous support from the likes of Dax J, Perc, Amelie Lens, Charlotte de Witte, Ben Klock, Len Faki, Chris Liebing, Slam, Tommy Four Seven, Nastia, Rebekah or Bas Mooy to name a few. Many were surprised of his path as he first knew success as a professional football player in the France U17 team but Charles reoriented himself into music, demonstrating his powerful mind to commit to his real passion. His debut album Diving From The Void was then the chance to show his rare maturity with a classy collection of music that enabled him to travel the globe, showcasing his DJing skills from Paris to Montreal, including Manchester, Glasgow, Amsterdam and Brussels. After two years of touring for Diving From The Void, Charles is now back in studio and ready to reach new audiences counting on his inimitable talent for producing. Not to mention his style is recognised among millions and never fail to gather compliments, so has proven his recent EP Distant Light which echoed through the whole techno community. Sounds like the Frenchman likes to get himself noticed and we can bet we’ll hear lots more of him in the upcoming months.
AXEL PICODOT BIO
New face of the French techno scene, Axel Picodot represents a whole generation of self-taught producers who shaped their personality outside the classical codes of the underground world. Passionate about electronic music since he received his first CDJs at age 16, he’s influenced by 90’s rave music which he transforms into modern compositions that would hit any challenging dance floor. Obsessed by fast rhythms and heavy loops, Axel’s music bears UK influences, industrial sounds and percussive imprints which shows his passion for overwhelming and uncompromising techno. Releasing music on Arts, Grounded or Distortion, his productions are supported by the likes of Perc, Dax J and Keith Carnal which got him the entrance to many clubs as a valuable producer besides Shlomo, Gary Beck, Ansome or UVB. Now touring across Europe, he's had remarkable stops at Depot Club in Amsterdam, at the Rex Club in Paris or at the Steelyard in London where he’s resident for the Distortion parties .
