Andrew Marshall will be hosting a 13 mile social walk to The Elephant Trees and Hill End to raise money for Enham Trust. The event is free, and all we ask is that you share the link to Andrew’s London Marathon page with your friends and family https://www.justgiving.com/page/andrew-marshall-1300?utm_medium=FA&utm_source=CL All donations received through this link go directly to Enham Trust to support their work helping disabled people into meaningful employment. About the walk: Wherever you are in Weardale, the chances are you can see the Elephant Trees, high up on Pikeston Fell. This clump of trees have looked over Wolsingham for decades and was named locally due to its uncanny resemblance to an elephant! We will leave Wolsingham Town Hall at 10:00am and follow the route as shown in the Wolsingham Wayfarer’s walk leaflet 6, and should take approximately 5hrs. The walk will be limited to 30 participants.
