Come on a scenic walk and donate to a local charity!
About this Event

Walk along the lovely River Stort to support our local charity CanalAbility, following the route that CanalAbility take in their specially adapted canal boats.

Starting in Harlow at 10:00am we will walk 4.5miles along the towpath to Sawbridgeworth and get the train back to the start.

It will take around 1 hour 45 minutes to walk plus the train journey (cost £3:50). Wear comfortable walking shoes. We can have coffee or lunch afterwards at the Moorhen pub.

Please bring a cash donation for CanalAbility towards a new electric canal boat. Please be generous for such a good cause which you’ll see for yourselves when we go out on the boats with CanalAbility later in the year. All donations go to CanalAbility not to She Who Dares.

If you’re driving, park for free in the Moorhen carpark (Burntmill Ln, Harlow CM20 2QS) but come via EastwickRoad past the Dusty Miller as Burntmill Lane is closed at the other end. By train, come to Harlow Town railway station and walk round to the carpark.
