Join me on a short, medium or VERY LONG walk.We aim to meet at Gloucester Docks, at the top end, near the crane/Greek Deli, where the lock is to the Severn at 6:30am and walk down the full length of the canal to Sharpness, near SARA lifeboat station and then head back the full 32miles.
There will be pubs and cafes for food and toilet stops where possible.
There will be an option for people to join in at half way for a 16mile straight trek from Sharpness back to the Docks or these shorter options;
Saul Junction/Stables Cafe 8miles
Pilot Inn Hardwicks, 4.4 miles
Hempsted Bridge 1.5 miles
Sainsburys 1mile
If you want to join in (charity yet to be decided upon) we will make a fundraising page, and take collections throughout the day itself.
But the aim is mostly to do it, enjoy Gloucestershire and walk for fun.
We anticipate the walk to be 3-3.5miles per hour for full trek walkers, taking approximately 5-6hours each way.

Everyone involved will be added to a WhatsApp group so that we can communicate any changes or details, and during the event for those joining at half way or on route back up the canal for timings etc.
