FSD Tag Team BJJ Tournament, November 1st, 2025Submission Only | No Gi | Double Elimination

Two fighters. One corner. Zero points. This is tag team jiu-jitsu like you’ve never seen it.
On Saturday, November 1st, First Shield Defense will host an all-out submission-only, no gi tournament where teamwork and grit decide who takes home the gold.
Here’s how it goes down:
-Teams of 2: Tag in by slapping hands in your corner
-10-minute rounds: If there’s no submission, the ref decides based on aggression & action
-Both opponents must be submitted to win the match
-Leg locks allowed: Straight ankle, toe hold, knee bar, calf slicer, heel hooks
-Weight class: Teams must not exceed a combined weight of 425 pounds
-Double elimination bracket: Everyone gets more than one match
Additional Notes: Teams get to pick their own entrance music and walk out from the FSD shoot house. Championship belts and trophies are on the line, along with a free month of training for the winners. Plus, the crowd will vote on Match of the Night for a special award.

Entry Fee: $20 per team | $10 spectator admission
Registration closes: October 18th (two weeks before the event)
Limited to 12 teams: First-come, first-served
