This event is a fundraiser for Operation Smile which is a highly effective and impactful 501(c)(3) organization (Tax ID 54-1460147) committed to providing exceptional surgical care across the world to children born with cleft lip or cleft palate. Operation Smile is an international medical charity that has provided hundreds of thousands of free surgeries for children and young adults in developing countries who are born with cleft lip, cleft palate or other facial deformities. It is one of the oldest and largest volunteer-based organizations dedicated to improving the health and lives of children worldwide through access to surgical care. Since 1982, Operation Smile has developed expertise in mobilizing volunteer medical teams to conduct surgical missions in resource-poor environments while adhering to the highest standards of care and safety. Operation Smile helps to fill the gap in providing access to safe, well-timed surgeries by partnering with hospitals, governments and ministries of health, training local medical personnel, and donating much-needed supplies and equipment to surgical sites around the world. Founded and based in Virginia, U.S., Operation Smile has extended its global reach to more than 60 countries through its network of credentialed surgeons, pediatricians, doctors, nurses, and student volunteers.
Every 3 minutes, a child is born with cleft lip or cleft palate. Most do not survive their first birthday due to poor medical care and lack of access to safe surgery. Operation Smile has the scale and organizational capacity to help solve this problem and make a real difference. A single life-changing smile takes only 45 minutes of surgery at an approximate cost of $240.

What's included in the ticket price?
Your ticket includes the 18-hole Green Fee, Cart Rental, Driving Range use prior to event, Grab-and-go breakfast sandwich, Lunch, Bottled Water and Beverage Ticket (minors cannot get alcoholic beverages). You will have access to silent auction prizes and skill contests for additional fees on the day of the event.
What's the refund policy?
Since this is a fundraising event, we cannot offer any refunds. If the tournament is postponed due to inclement weather before play has begun, we will reschedule.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes. You will need proof of payment and ID at event registration. You can bring a printed copy of your ticket or use the Eventbrite app.
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Your ticket can be transferred to another player, however you are responsible to make sure they observe the Club rules and regulations - (1) soft spike golf shoes only, (2) no denim jeans, gym shorts and jogging apparel and all shirts must have a collar and (3) adhere to rules covering the use of the course and golf carts.
