Welcome to Bridgwater Geek and Gaming's 2nd charity event! This year we're running a tabletop gaming marathon, a 24-hour event at the Activity Warehouse in Bridgwater to raise funds to support the Charity Gaming Guild, who are themselves fundraisers for other worthy charities. This year they're raising funds for the James Anthony Foundation, a non-profit organisation that support the families of children living with brain or spinal tumours, and it's our privilege to be in a position to help!On offer we have a range of excellent boardgames, as well as space for RPG's and card games. The day will run in 8-hour slots which you can sign up to for just £8 per session. The times of each slot are 9am to 5pm, 5pm until 1am, and 1am until 9am. You can participate in as many of these slots as you want to, but space is limited! To sign up, payment can be made in person or by Paypal ([email protected]), specifying which times you are signing up for and what sort of games you're hoping to play.
Although you're welcome and indeed encouraged to bring and arrange your own games, we're setting some games to give folks something to start with. More details very soon!
If you're looking for an excuse to both play games and support an amazing charity, this is your chance 😀
