Charity Fishing Competition - all money raised will be donated to Hayling Rescue.This will be a species hunt competition (species list will be issued in advance):
General Rules:
Individuals competition minimum of 2 x anglers per boat.
All competitors must wear life jackets.
Open to all boats including charters.
£10 to enter per angler – payment in advance only. Please pay at the marina office or over the phone.
Scorecards and rules pack can be picked up from Sparkes Marina office in advance or on the day.
Boats can leave from home marina on the morning of the event.
Fishing 9am-4pm.
Catch cards to be into Sparkes Marina office by no later that 5:30pm.
Prize giving at 6pm in The Square Rigger
If a competitor is not coming back to the marina you must still contact the Sparkes office to confirm your safe return, please call 02392 463572 or VHF Channel 80.
Fishing Rules:
One rod per person max of 3 hooks.
Use any bait.
No fishing boundaries.
Catch up to 3 of each of the listed species.
1 point will be awarded per fish per species up to a maximum of 3 (so if you catch 6 bass you will be awarded a maximum of 3 points)
No size limits.
Maximum 3 x mini species to count of any species.
All photographs of catches must include the catch card clearly showing competitors name, face and boat name.
The winner will be the individual angler with the highest number of points at the end of the event.
If there are anglers with the same number of points the winner will be decided by the time of the first fish submitted then the second fish then the third fish etc.
