Folks we are going to hold a Charity Day on Saturday 28th December. All proceeds will go to our only nominated Charity, the NI Air Ambulance. Last year #birchwood donated an impressive £11k. I'm on the scrounge looking for anyone that can donate any flies/fly boxes/rods/reels/clothing and anything inbetween - in new condition. Any business that would like to jump onboard with donations, we have nearly 9k followers and we can offer free publicity through our Facebook channel for your generosity.
Many of you will know, we don't charge for tea and coffee. Instead, we ask for a £1 donation which goes to the air Ambulance. This makes up the majority of our donation and we would like to top it up by way of our charity day.
Our Charity day will mean that all money collected from the fishery, will be donated to the NI Air Ambulance. There will be spot prizes and prizes for most fish, Heaviest Fish and few fun and games prizes throughout the day.
We will have more info on this in the coming weeks. Please note, this is not a competition, just a fun filled day in aid of a very, very worthy charity.
