It's that time of year again for one of our charity events.This year we have chosen to hold this event on one of our Sunday Socials.
Again I have chosen the same two charities as the last couple of years, Dorset Mind and Marie curie.
The reason being:
2023 & 2024 were a very tough couple of years within the dance community and personally.
Most of us have lost family or friends due to cancer or mental health issues.
I personally went to a fair few funerals in 2024.
One of the funerals was very close to my heart, as the person was struggling with a mental health crisis unknown to others.
These charities offer life changing Support to people in emotional pain during life, or entering the end of their life.
We're asking for a minimum donation of £15 on the door.
All money received will be divided equally between the two charities. Unless you specify otherwise.
If you are unable to attend the charity event but would like to donate, we will be accepting donations at our regular classes/events.
I will post some links to the pages and QR codes for you to scan.
This event is for dancers and non dancers.
There will be selection is Salsa, Bachata, kizomba along with chart tracks that you can also dance to.
Please feel free to bring Family, friends and loved ones along.
Let's get this out there and raise as much as we can for these wonderful charities...
Their will be a selection of nibbles, refreshments (Claire’s famous Lemon Cake & Baileys tartlets) to keep you fuelled and on the dance floor.
