About this Event
The Rural Communities Mental Health Foundation launched in September and we're here to create a positive legacy in memory of Robert Chapman and Max Hunter who both lost their lives to suicide.
Starting and ending at Tilbrook Grange, the family farm in between Catworth and Kimbolton where Max grew up, the Tractor Run will take us out through the local villages, finishing back where we started for burgers and some festive cheer.
We want to bring as many people together as possible and create a brilliant spectacle, give everyone the chance to catch up at the end of a long year and try to raise as much money as we can to fund Mental Health First Aid training courses for people living and working in our rural and agricultural communities across Northants, Bucks and Beds.
To maximise the number of places we can fund, we have opted to pass on the tickets fees and hope you understand why. For context, 15 tractors will fund one place on our 2 day Mental Health First Aid training course.
The route:
Tilbrook Grange out towards Covington, Higham Ferrers and Rushden, then on to Newton Bromswold, Yelden and Melchbourne, before continuing to Pertenhall and Stonely, before coming back through Kimbolton and then up the hill to Tilbrook Grange.
- 24 miles
- Approx.1 hour
Timings:
- Arrive from 5pm to set off at 6pm
Best dressed tractor:
When it comes to your Christmas lights, more is more! There will be a prize for the tractor our co-founders Lewis and Kate think is the best dressed, so don't hold back.
