About this Event
Join us on this fun filled evening, where guests can look forward to:
- A delicious 3 course dinner (including vegan option)
- A raffle with items from various local Bristol businesses
- A fundraising auction
- Live music and dancing
Dress code is strictly black tie and the event is covered by a licensed bar.
The ticket price will cover the costs of the event and any profits remaining will be added directly to the final fundraising donation.
About our cause: hosted by Jade Coles, cervical cancer survivor, who recently reached the monumentous milestone of remission.
"Around 3,200 women are diagnosed with cervical cancer in the UK each year. That’s nearly 9 cases diagnosed every day."
After 4 years of battling the disease, Jade's hope is to enable and provide resources for teachers and educators who are teaching young women and girls about the signs for cervical cancer. With easy testing that is readily available, reducing the stigma surrounding testing and encouraging all those who could be affected by this terrible disease we could save countless lives.
"Around 9 in 10 women in England diagnosed with cervical cancer aged 15-39 survive their disease for five years or more, compared with around a quarter of women diagnosed aged 80 and over (2009-2013)."
All the funds raised on the night go directly to Cancer Research UK to help raise awareness.
