We are delighted to offer you a very special opportunity to join us for our Annual Charity & Handover Dinner on Friday 4th April at The Lord Nelson Hotel, Milford Haven. This year the event will be supporting the amazing work of Cardiac Rick in the Young.
The evening is a celebration of all that Milford Haven Round Table has achieved over the last 12 months. The evening will also see current Chairman Rob Allen bring his tenure to a close and handover to incoming Chairman, Gareth Roberts.
We are excited to announce that we will be joined on the evening by Welsh rugby icon, Sam Warburton OBE. Sam stands as one of the most iconic leaders in history of world rugby, having earned numerous accolades as the former Captain of Wales and the British & Irish Lions. His rugby journey began in his early years, showcasing his exceptional talent that led to his signing with the Cardiff Blues academy during his junior career. His debut with the Cardiff Blues followed in 2009, where he went on to make a lasting impact, representing the team over 100 times and contributing to their European Rugby Challenge Cup triumph. His debut for Wales coincided with his start at the Cardiff Blues, and in 2011, he assumed the captaincy for his country. Over the course of his tenure, he captained Wales a record 49 times, guiding them to a Six Nations Grand Slam and the semi-final of the 2011 Rugby World Cup. His leadership qualities were further recognised when he was selected as the captain for the British and Irish Lions in both the 2013 and 2017 tours.
On the evening we will welcome star of TV & film, Julian Lewis Jones as our MC and host.
As well as hearing from Sam & Julian the evening will feature a two-course dinner, the handover speeches and Events Room auction.
