COVID SAFETY GUIDELINES:1. Only 4 newbies allowed to sign up per event. Newbie gets one FREE tryout. After that is $5 each time.
2. Inside the boathouse you must wear a mask.
3. If you are fully vaccinated a mask outside, and on the boat, is optional.
4. Temp Check (less than 100.4) with health questionnaire will be taken.
5. PFD's and paddles will be washed after each use.
6. Must sign a waiver.
This event is for those new to Dragon Boating.
What is Dragon Boating? A dragon boat team consists of 20 paddlers sitting two abreast, a Cox who steers the dragon boat from the rear, and a drummer who sits at the front.
The team of paddlers work in unison to propel the boat forward from a standing start, the aim being to reach the finish line in the fastest time.
