About this Event
Join Highwire Improv for a free 'jamshop' - part workshop, part jam, led by Tashika Campbell.
This week's event is all about characters - how to create them, how to play them, and how to maintain them in improv scenes.
We'll begin with introductions and a boundary check-in, then Tashika will guide the group through some exercises to really work on the skills of character creation. After everyone has worked on their skills, we'll apply it with some fun improv jamming!
All levels of experience are welcome!
All participants are required to follow the Highwire Improv Code of Conduct and arrive on-time to make sure that we can align on how we'll hold space for one another.
The jamshop is free, but registration is required so that we know how many people are planning to attend and can ensure we stay within the room capacity.
As detailed previously, in-person events at Highwire Improv are only recommended for those individuals who have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
Parking is available for free onsite. The Roland Park Community Center is an accessible space - for any detailed questions, please reach out to [email protected]
