Glenn Sheeley is a former award-winning sportswriter with the Pittsburgh Press and Atlanta Journal-Constitution who covered mostly the NFL, including the iconic Pittsburgh Steelers of the 1970s, and golf throughout his newspaper career.
Glenn covered 17 Super Bowls (two won by the Steelers) and hundreds of NFL games in the first half of his career and then 32 straight major golf championships -- including 10 won by Tiger Woods -- from the mid-1990s on.
A native of Hershey, Pa., and a Journalism graduate of Penn State and sports editor for the Penn State Daily Collegian. Glenn spent nearly 12 years in the golf industry after leaving the newspaper business in 2005, working in communications and membership for two private golf clubs in the Atlanta.
