Surreal Sirkus invites you to take part in the third chapter of our ongoing story: The Tale of the Cosmic Eggs.This time around we are joining forces with Street Creature Puppets and Illuminate Asheville to bring you Chapter 3: The Violet Egg.
Gather at Pritchard Park at 6 p.m. for an Imbolc ritual and to participate in the Violet Lantern Parade. We will march through the streets with purple lights to bring light back to downtown and also to honor the memory of one of the people who once helped make downtown Asheville so special: Irv "Snakehawke" Via.
We will end up at LaZoom Room just after 7 p.m. for an evening of performances, including the telling of the Violet Egg, and remembrances of Snakehawke.
