About this Event
This is a great opportunity for us as chaplains to gather together to encourage and learn from each other and find out what God is doing through the amazing profession of chaplaincy.
We are delighted that Andy Schuman will be speaking at the next networking meeting on the 13th November. Andy the Staff Chaplain to the Sea Cadet Corps where he helps lead, train and equip chaplains across the country, and he has a similar role as Sub Dean to the St John Ambulance chaplaincy. Andy is also the vicar of St Christophers Church in Brislington. Andy will be sharing his views on ‘What makes a good Chaplain?’ and will be asking if we agree with his thoughts.
During the evening we will also have our usual open Q&A session so if you have a question or a scenario you would like to raise, we are sure someone will be able to help with some words of wisdom.
If you know anyone working in a chaplaincy role in Bristol, please feel free to forward this email to them.
The networking evening is taking place on the “Upper Reaches Prayer Barge” in Temple Quay, BS2 0DW. The barge is moored at the bottom of the steps by ‘The Double Puc’ cafe at the bottom of “The Eye” apartment building and can be seen from Valentine Bridge (the bendy pedestrian bridge). A map showing the location of the barge is also below.
Looking forward to catching up with you all.
