About this Event
U.S. immigration policy in President Trump’s second term has been defined by increasingly restrictive enforcement measures, including threats of mass deportation, that impact our USC community and beyond. This event brings together USC scholars (including a visiting scholar-activist) from diverse disciplines, including sociology, political science, medicine, and the law, to examine the landscape of immigration control and its effects on communities. Join us as we explore how we can actively engage immigrant rights and immigrant communities through research, policy reform, and advocacy, and as we discuss how institutions can serve as sources of support and resilience.
