“Chante la vie, chante,” features classic French songs from The Golden Age of French Song 1950-1999, designed and directed by André Nerman, at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 27 at UB’s Katherine Cornell Theatre. You’ll hear songs by artists such as Edith Piaf, Charles Aznavour, Jacques Brel, and Serge Gainsbourg. Actors on tour from France will be performing these classic French songs introducing their historic context. You don’t need to be fluent in French (and you won't need to fly to Paris) to enjoy an evening of Live French Theatre.
See you on Saturday.
