Changing the Conversation

For attention of anyone involved in assessing, supporting and providing care…..

Over the next few months The Thinking Differently Team and Dr Emma Miller will be hosting a series of full day and half day workshops around changing the conversation. The aim of the workshops is to promote consistent understanding and build confidence in outcome focused and strength based practice.

We will look at opportunities to refocus on values and relationship-based practice with the vision of a sustainable work force which can promote good outcomes for people despite challenges. The workshops will also acknowledge the challenges including complexity of policy and systems that present barriers to this way of working.

The workshops will provide an opportunity for social work, NHS, and education staff to engage and promote a common understanding of this way of working.

This programme will focus on:

· Conversations

· Recording

· Carers

· Communities

We also have colleagues from Organisational Development, What Matters to You and Senior Managers that will be contributing on the day.

We would like to invite you to attend one full day session and one half day session
