Change Management for Home Care Reform
About this Event

Most providers that LPA team members speak to are concerned about the upcoming reforms in home care. This concern can often ‘trickle’ down to other workforce members resulting in fear and anxiety. There is a way of managing these unknown changes so that there is support and a plan in place for different scenarios.

We believe there are three key areas that will require change management:

  1. Workforce management- in particular our teams of care managers and clinicians.
  2. Model redesign- what is working, what is not, what needs to change?
  3. Interface between teams e.g. finance and operations, management and team leaders, clinicians and care managers.
  4. Communication with stakeholders with specific needs e.g. CALD

Successfully navigating the evolving landscape demands effective leadership, foresight, and a well-structured approach to managing change.

To assist you we have put together a practical course for any manager or team leader about change management and the importance of keeping the result ‘front of mind’ i.e. quality care and business sustainability.

We know that home care providers have survived many changes over the last decade and will continue to do so if they are supported by stakeholders to remain viable and not only survive but thrive!
