Join Climate Action New Hampshire and Auspicious Brew for a tour of the first kombucha brewery in NH! As part of Climate Action's "Change is Brewing" series, we will spend the evening exploring the kombucha brewing process at Auspicious Brew in Dover, NH. We will receive a tour of the brewing facility, with a focus on the local ingredients and sustainable practices that the brewery emphasizes in their work.
Following our tour, attendees will take part in a guided sampling session of the kombucha's rotating tap selection. Kombucha will be available for purchase, as well as beer, wine, and a variety of nonalcoholic beverages. Food will be available as well, also prepared with fresh, local ingredients.
The story of Auspicious Brew: At home in her kitchen Auspicious Brew founder, Helen, experimented with fermentation. Drawing from a background of tending both wild and cultivated medicinal plants, and mixology, she combined her crafts and started making kombucha. When she shared her brew with family and friends, the people wanted more. Over nearly five years, Auspicious Brew grew from a tiny seed of an idea into the first licensed kombucha brewery in the state of New Hampshire. We opened in the Fall of 2020, and since then have been thrilled to welcome you into a vibrant space where inclusivity is our driving force. We pride ourselves on hosting our community in a place where all are welcome who welcome all.
