Renowned West African Artist Kader Boly Showcases Work in Fort Collins Exhibition
Fort Collins, CO – Renowned West African artist Kader Boly will headline Art That Changes Everything, a three-day exhibition at Change Everything Furniture & Design Solutions from October 23–25, 2025. The event blends fine art and interior design, offering Northern Colorado audiences the rare chance to experience Boly’s evocative works styled within curated home settings, alongside a Collector’s Reception and a live demonstration of his creative process.
Guests can explore the Change Everything showroom, sip wine, enjoy light bites, and see Boly’s textured, earth-inspired art woven into beautifully designed interiors. Interior designers will be available throughout the exhibition to provide styling guidance, helping visitors imagine how each piece could transform their own homes.
Born in the nomadic Fulani Tribe of northern Burkina Faso, Boly began his artistic journey at age twelve, painting with natural pigments and mud to capture the landscapes and life around him. Today, his process is as unconventional as it is intentional. He paints with string, pocketknives, sticks, and even blades of grass—techniques he often discovers by accident. A string that slipped into his paint one day became a tool for outlining animals; split sticks hold pigment for longer strokes; blades of grass absorb ink like handmade brushes. He also grinds red rock into pigment and mixes it with gum arabic, a resin from trees, to create earthy, textured layers that give his works their singular character.
“My art is about the life I’ve known—the land, the people, the stories that shape us,” Boly says. “I use natural pigments and textures because they connect directly to the land. Showing my work at Change Everything is exciting because people will see it in beautifully designed spaces, where people can imagine it in their own homes.”
For Change Everything owner and interior designer Jaime Cawthron, Boly’s work represents the ideal blend of meaning and versatility.
