We are excited to announce that on Friday, June 6, 2025, Domestic Violence Project, Inc. (DVPI) will be holding its annual gala fundraiser, Champions of Hope. This year’s event will take place at the Doubletree Downtown Canton and we hope to make it the best year yet. We ask that you consider partnering with us in our mission to promote awareness and provide emergency and support services to all those impacted by domestic violence by attending, donating, sponsoring, or simply by sharing information about our event. Because of support from neighbors like you, DVPI was able to provide a haven of unique safety net services – including shelters in Canton and Massillon, food, clothing, and case management for 299 survivors who did not have another safe place to turn last year. Providing access to life’s basic necessities is critical to a successful healing process. Over 1,000 additional survivors were supported with services like legal and medical advocacy, transitional housing and aftercare programs. These resilient women, men, and children were able to begin a journey of healing and hope because of this community’s collective generosity. All DVPI services are free, confidential, and available 24/7 to survivors of domestic violence.
This event will include many opportunities to support DVPI’s mission, including a raffle and live and silent auctions featuring unique items in all price ranges. All monies raised will enable us to continue offering all of these services to survivors for the coming year and beyond.
