Each year, LMC Class participants select a community-focused class project. For 2026, the class was divided into four teams, each partnering with a local nonprofit to support meaningful initiatives.
This year, LMC chose to support The Champion Project’s Fostering Success Tutoring Program, aiming to raise awareness and help expand its reach. The goal is to recruit additional volunteer tutors so more youth in foster care group homes can receive the academic support they need.
We are honored to have LMC co-host this unique mixer event at Two Tones Dueling Piano Bar on February 26th (5:30 - 7:30PM), to highlight the Fostering Success Program and engage the local community in helping it grow & serve more foster youth in group homes. Join us and learn how you can make a difference for a youth in foster care!
