A Grand Match Awaits—The Clippers Host the Prairie Chickens!Step back in time as the Champaign Clippers take on the Prairie Chickens in a spirited match of vintage base ball! Experience the game as it was played in the mid-19th century—no gloves, underhand pitching, and bound outs!
📍 Where: Colbert Park, Savoy, IL (Follow the park entrance road straight to the open grass field. Parking available in the lot or along the street.)
📅 When: First match begins at 11 AM, with a second to follow after a short break.

Bring a lawn chair, some refreshments, and settle in for a fine day of base ball. During the intermission, young fans will have a chance to step onto the field and interact with vintage players before play resumes.
Vintage base ball is a living history experience, bringing the game’s earliest days to life with the customs and rules of the 1860s. The Champaign Clippers proudly play as members of the Vintage Base Ball Association (VBBA).
