CHAMPAGNE DRIP-
WAKAAN
Sam Pool, better known as the moniker Champagne Drip, is an electronic music producer based in Los Angeles, California. Rooted in jungle and bass music and built around elements of blippy 8-bit sounds, arpeggios, and lush 80s synths, Champagne Drip launched as a decidedly tropical and uplifting sounding project.
Pool dedicated the beginning of his electronic music career to making drum & bass under the moniker SPL, but after ten years he felt like he was “doing the same thing over and over again.” In order to break out of this creative rut, Pool began producing for a new project named Champagne Drip in 2014 that showcases an entrancing tropical vibe. Since then he has established himself as a pillar of the Wakaan Roster.
Melodic bass star Champagne Drip is looking to keep the ball rolling in 2021 with his brand new Champagne Trip EP, released by Wakaan. Although Champagne Drip is known for his otherworldly production, Champagne Trip is his heaviest collection of tunes yet. His unique sound is embodied beautifully throughout, though only the first single "In My Dreamz" features his usual mind-melting soundscapes. The rest of the record embraces a relentless sound with a dose of heavy, bone-shattering bass.
"Acid Drop" is particularly ruthless, opening with ominous synths that quickly devolve into an immaculately wobbly drop. "Initiate" brings similar energy, but it isn't quite as devastating. Its fluttery elements complement the hard-hitting drop, creating the perfect contrast to entice listeners. The fourth song "Slam" may take them by surprise, as it begins with an ethereal sound that soon becomes wildly glitchy.

CANABLISS -
Hailing from Toronto, Samantha Infusini, or Canabliss, is a born creative to her very core. With what can only be referred to as an artistic eye, her background is a colorful palette of different mediums, ranging from photography, music, and immersing herself in the digital world through video games.
Canabliss has also earned the title of an autodidact, otherwise known as a self-taught musician. Although her deeply rooted love of electronic music originally sparked the Canabliss project, her honed production skills speak loudly for themselves through the music she releases today.
Quickly garnering attention, her sound resonates throughout all corners of the music community. Much like her passion for all types of artwork, her music is not caged to any one genre and floats primarily between experimental and future bass. Carving out her own space to express and empower, Canabliss has already brought her engaging sets to the live stages and is well on her way to sharing her creative vision to the masses.
