About this Event

One of our favorite and truly special nights of the year is again upon us!

While Aperitivo was a lovely place to host our annual tastings, we are beyond thrilled to partner with our friends at the Sovengard to show off this year's delightful-as-always lineup of the good stuff at one of our favorite GR restaurants!

As true, real Champagne is only made in the region of Champagne, France - it's a delightful story and experience each time that bottle pops! Bradford Hammerschmidt of Imperial Beverage will once again be joining us to regale us with tales of real, true Champagne while sharing with us 5+ of the best the region has to offer from some of the smallest producers...the growers!

5+ selections? Yes, we're having a 6th pour, but it's not exactly Champagne - we're bringing back a Ratafia (don't ask, just nod your head in agreement!) for our final pour! We sold out the Ratafia at our first tasting last round, so we ordered more, you'll love it!

There will be food pairings with each of the six selections!

There will not be food available prior to the event, but there WILL be a limited selection of beverages available for purchase prior to the event.

Doors open at 6:15pm

This year we do not have a seating map, but if you wish to sit with certain people, book them together if at all possible OR at least mention your desired tablemates at the end of your booking.

Please note that no matter where you register, your bill will reflect a charge from the Sovengard!

This is a ticketed, seated event. We cannot accept walk-ins! Must be 21 years of age.

Please let us know at time of registration if you have any food allergies or concerns so that we can address them ahead of time. We cannot make substitutions at the event.

In the unlikely event we should need to cancel the event, we will reach out to you as an attendee to offer a rescheduled class. I mean, who knows, we do live in Michigan...
