Audition Open Call for Meteor Shower by Steve Martin!Join us for auditions on Monday, December 9 and Tuesday, December 10, from 6-8 PM at the CCT Office (entrance on Main Street, beyond the Capitol Theatre marquee). Please attend only one of the audition days. All roles are open for performers 18+ at the time of the performances (February 14-16, 2025) and include on-stage intimacy. Age will not be considered until the final casting decisions are made.
Prepare a comedic monologue (at least 30 seconds) from any play or musical; Shakespeare is welcome. Expect cold readings from the script during auditions. If you cannot attend, please contact Director Mat Levine at [email protected].
Scripts will be distributed soon after casting, with rehearsals beginning in January. While actors are not expected to memorize lines before rehearsals, they should have a good understanding of the material. Rehearsals will be limited and intense, leading up to the performance with only six weeks of preparation and a cast of four. Please bring any conflicts within the production window to auditions
